Call for Papers
TRI/Princeton requests submissions on hair science and its applications for oral presentations, technical papers, and poster presentations. Several topics will be highlighted at the Fifth International Conference on Applied Hair Science, including:
- Novel Measurement Techniques for Hair Science
- Colloid and Formulation Chemistry
- Hair Aging (Hair loss, graying, and weathering)
- Hair Ethnicity, Hair Surface Properties and Interactions
- Advances in Fiber Science
Abstracts for oral and poster presentations must be submitted by June 1, 2012. Interested applicants should email their abstracts to the Conference Organizer at info@triprinceton.org.
Conference Scope
This conference will provide insiders with a grounded view to the technical future of their industry. There will be a number of talks that build from the utility of existing technology, adding the novel insights behind recent innovations. New and old methods will be reviewed for documenting product performance, supporting claims and adding technical insight. Additionally, contributions will be made from adjacent areas by keynote speakers, that the organizing committee believes are likely to become significant to innovation in this industry in the next five to ten years. TRI Pre-Conference Courses
Prior to the conference, attendees are encouraged to register to attend The Science Behind Hair Claims on September 17-18 or Hair & Scalp Biology on September 19 at our facility in Princeton. Discounts are available to attendees of multiple events. Contact the course registrar for more details. There are limited seats for these pre-conference courses, so you are encouraged to register early.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made on or before September 1, 2012 will receive a refund for registration minus a $200 administrative fee. Registrations may also be transferred to another registrant at no charge.
