Germany Now Has A New Industrial Group: Evonik Industries Has Arrived
Essen, Germany (9/12/2007) -- Germany now has a new industrial group: Evonik Industries has arrived. At the company headquarters in Essen, Dr. Werner Müller, CEO of the entity previously operating under the name of RAG Beteiligungs-AG, today presented the new brand with which Evonik plans to enter the capital market in the first half of 2008. “Evonik is Germany’s creative industrial group for chemicals, energy and real estate. Our goal is to become one of the most creative industrial groups in the world,” stated Dr. Müller as he introduced the new group brand. “Our portfolio, which consists of the Chemicals, Energy, and Real Estate business areas, unites a strong substance with attractive growth potential,“ continued Dr. Müller. TRI's Latest

Ms. Keleigh McAllister presented a poster entitled "Hair Care and Sun Damage" at the 2007 Florida Sunscreen Symposium to be held on September 6-9 in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. Co-authors of the poster are Prakash Naiksatam, Ram Ramaprasad, Mythili Nori and Peter Kaplan.

TRI presented three papers at the 15th International Hair Science Symposium to be held in Bad Staffelstein, Germany on September 12-14. Dr. Trefor Evans will present "Studying the rate of moisture adsorption by hair using Dynamic Vapor Sorption," and Dr. Ram Ramaprasad will present "What color is colored hair?" and "Redefining hair baseline parameters in some claims work."
