Instruments

Often our corporate participants require qualitative and quantitative analysis of new products for which analytical equipment does not exist. In these cases, the team at TRI has worked together to develop several unique pieces of research equipment which are utilized by our staff.

One of these instruments - the TRI/Autoporosimeter™ - is available for purchase. Additionally, the Instrument Development Team can develop instruments on a proprietary contract basis that meet a customer's specific research requirements.

The TRI/Autoporosimeter™provides detailed pore structure analysis of a wide variety of man-made and natural materials, including non-fibrous, fibrous and sintered materials, powders, soils, rocks, oil and gas reservoirs, woven and non-woven fabrics, papers, filters, membranes, battery separators and electrodes, and non-amalgamating and amalgamating metals. The TRI/Autoporosimeter™ does not use mercury.
