TRI Appoints Dr. Prakash Naiksatam as Senior Scientist of Formulation Science
Dr. Naiksatam brings Formulation Expertise to Portfolio of Services at TRI

Princeton, NJ - TRI is proud to announce the appointment of Dr. Prakash Naiksatam as Senior Scientist in Formulation Science. "We are incredibly pleased to have Dr. Naiksatam join the Institute," stated Dr. Gail R. Eaton, President of TRI/Princeton. "With an extensive background in formulation science in hair and skin care, Dr. Naiksatam will help TRI into exciting new areas of fundamental and contract research, while continuing to provide TRI's customers with superior service."

Dr. Naiksatam holds a B.S. in Chemistry and an M.S. in Organic Chemistry from Poona University and a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from Kent State University. After earning his Ph.D., Dr. Naiksatam held a Post Doctoral Research Fellow position at SUNY Stony Brook. He has spent more than 20 years working in Cosmetic Chemistry for major skincare, suncare and haircare manufacturers including Johnson & Johnson and Estee Lauder.

Most recently, Dr. Naiksatam was a Senior Chemist at Church & Dwight where he developed formulations for depilatories. He looks forward to continuing his work in cosmetic chemistry and providing breakthrough knowledge on formulation science to TRI's wide range of clients. Concurrently, he plans to compliment TRI's capabilities in the interactions of products with fibrous substrates by upgrading our expertise in the chemistry and design of formulations.

"I intend to bring my expertise in formulation science to grow the portfolio of capabilities in TRI's personal care group," Dr. Naiksatam said. "My particular passion is finding ways to improve development in any product."
