Suppliers’ Day 2026 is held at the Javits Convention Center in New York City on May 19th and 20th. Hosted by the New York Society of Cosmetic Chemists (NYSCC), this is an opportunity for those working within cosmetic science and personal care to see current trends in hair and skin products, as well as learn new techniques, see new ingredients and discover new analytical techniques. This year TRI has a stand: Booth 478 (Level 3) so either drop by and see us, or arrange a meeting in advance.

The Fundamentals of Hair Science and Claims Course is filling up fast, with live places now sold out! The two-day intensive program – on April 15 and 16 – is a must-attend for those who work within hair science and claims substantiation.

Surfer hair is embodied by a cool, casual aesthetic where locks are tousled and (often) sun-bleached – essentially the hair you might have if you’d just been surfing in the Pacific Ocean. The style is intended to be low maintenance, and often features a longer cut, with layers, but lots of texture, volume and flow.
