South Africa Conference Visit

Dr Paul Cornwell (Director, Business Development) delivered a presentation titled ‘Bridging Global Standards in Claims Testing: From Advanced Hair Science to African Market Realities’ at the SCC South Africa meeting titled: Unified by Purpose: A Global Cosmetic Science Convergence, on Thursday 23rd April.  The scientific meeting and trade exhibition drew hundreds of cosmetics scientists from around South Africa, and neighboring countries.  Paul took the opportunity to meet with scientists from TRI member companies based in the region, including colleagues from L'Oréal, Unilever, and Symrise.

Dr Paul Cornwell also took part in IFSCC Presidium Meetings during his visit to South Africa, as part of his role as IFSCC Treasurer.  South Africa will be the location for the IFSCC Congress in 2029.  It was exciting to visit the Congress venue in Cape Town and to discuss all the plans with colleagues in the SCC South Africa.   South Africa will be a beautiful location for the event, and we won’t run out of good local wine in Cape Town!
