Hair Conference Box Set Available For Purchase

The box set containing talks and presentations from the 12th TRI International Conference on Applied Hair Science is now available for purchase from the TRI Library.
This three-day event, in June 2026, contained a diverse program of world-leading speakers from across the globe. The recent scientific advances made in hair biology, hair structure and properties, hair damage and new methods and technologies were all discussed, alongside keynote talks delivered by Duane Harland (Bioeconomy Science Institute, New Zealand), Bernd Nocker (Kao Germany GmbH, Germany), Gabriela Daniels (London College of Fashion), Candace V. Mitchell (MYAVANA), and Ovi Kedo (Cosmetics Ai).
There were also several other talks from highly-esteemed speakers that covered topics including the relationships between scale flare-ups and dandruff (Procter and Gamble), how the scalp microbiome can affect hair loss (Mane Insights), the use of botanicals in hair care (Procter and Gamble), split ends in textured hair (TRI Princeton), discussions around the term ‘hair hydration’ (Boticário Group), the use of peptides in hair care (Croda), and measuring unconstrained shine in textured hair (Bossa Nova Vision).

As well as being a fantastic opportunity to see advances in the world of hair science, it’s also an excellent networking event for hair scientists in the US and beyond, fostering collaborations between many research groups and companies. If you missed it this year, we’ll have another conference in 2028, but in the meantime you can purchase access to the 2026 conference through the TRI library.
If you aren’t a library member, or you’re not part of a TRI Member company, and would like access to the library more generally, or are interested in becoming a TRI member company, please contact us.
