Hair Conference 2026: A Key Event in the Cosmetic Science Calendar

Stunning venue, powerhouse speaker lineup, and great company!
The 12th TRI International Conference on Applied Hair Science was between the 2nd and 4th June 2026 at Red Bank, NJ. As with other events in recent years, this was hybrid, with nearly 400 attendees, across online and in-person registrations, from 107 companies worldwide. If you registered, you can still stream all the presentations again visiting your Zoom link until September 4th 2026. After this time, all the posters and presentations will be migrated to the TRI Library and content will be available as a box set.
As ever, the quality of science was outstanding, and all talks and posters generated numerous questions and discussion points. Throughout, it became apparent that there were several themes:
The use of AI as a tool within cosmetic science was a consistent thread, featuring in several talks and posters as well as being the focus of the expert panel discussion on the first afternoon;
Sustainability and the use of natural materials in a responsible way was also a key feature, with a significant focus on naturally-derived botanicals delivering defined benefits for consumers to both hair and scalp;
Our understanding of the microbiome and its relationship between the fauna and flora on hair and scalp is continually increasing, leading to exciting developments in treatment of skin and scalp conditions that customers are concerned about.
