We are very lucky at TRI to have a beautiful environment to come to work to. Here is a

picture taken by our grounds man of Virginia Springbeauty (also known as Grass-Flower or

Fairy Spud) in bloom. Interesting fact about this plant: Native Americans used the roots of

this perennial plant as food and as a medicine.
