Welcoming Chinese Beauty Journalists to TRI

TRI was proud to welcome the co-founders of CHAILEEDO, the leading on-line news outlet for the beauty industry in China (https://chaileedo.com ), to our laboratories in December.  The visit was organised via the Chinese American Cosmetic Professional Association (CACPA) (https://cacpausa.org ).  TRI and CHAILEEDO agreed to work more closely in the future, helping TRI to reach-out better to fellow cosmetic scientists and journalists in China.

The Chinese American Cosmetic Professional Association (CACPA) was established in December 2000, as a non-profit organisation, and is dedicated to supporting Chinese American professionals in the cosmetic, and personal care product industry.  The CACPA also helps build cooperative relationships, within the cosmetic, and personal care sectors, between the United States and China.

Dr Guangru Mao, from the CACPA, did a great job as translator for the day, and we were also very pleased to welcome Dr Zhigang Hao (President of the CACPA) to TRI to introduce the VIP guests from CHAILEEDO.

The journalists from CHAILEEDO interviewed the TRI team about our mission, ways of working and our history.  After a tour of our laboratories, we also talked about some hot topics, such as best practice methods for supporting skin and hair moisturisation claims, and the validity of free-from claims, such as sulphate free.

TRI and CHAILEEDO look forward to collaborating further in the future.  Many thanks to Guangru and Zhigang from the CACPA for organising a very pleasant visit.
